A customer visited our Plymouth showroom for the first time yesterday, having considered a new Stillwater outfit for a while & wasn’t sure what would suit him best or what options would be available to him. After testing a couple of rods & lines in our casting area he concluded the Diamond 10ft #7wt with one of the new XS fly lines on a Spectre cassette reel was his preferred setup. With slightly longer days, after travelling home, Greg decided he had time for a quick visit to his local fishery ‘Bratton Water’, to try out his new outfit. After a few casts to his delight the line was stretching out across the lake as his confidence rose. Moments later the line was pulsing with electrifying vigour, as a Blue Trout of nearly 3lbs set off having taken his well-presented Buzzer. A similar sized rainbow followed not long after before a very contented Gregpacked up & headed home for tea, with the light beginning to fade and somewhat delighted with his new Snowbee setup!!!
