This fine Ballan wrasse was tempted on a Raptor2 spinning outfit using our stinger venom shad split tail soft lure.

The rocky outcrops and deep kelp lined gully’s are just perfect for finding the feeding Wrasse and Bass, as the sun sets you may also be lucky enough to pick up the odd pollock.

 The slight curve to the body gives an enticing, lazy ‘side to side’ action, while the small dorsal fin helps keep it upright. The small lip allows it to track just sub-surface, or dart deeper, with a quick jerk of the rod.
